I visited the site again on Thursday, Dec 8th. All of the framework has been removed from the concrete. Insulation was put around the base of the concrete grade beams and now everything gets filled to grade. The new boathouse will be between at a 2-3ft higher in elevation than the old building. The concrete floor will not be poured until after the building is framed in. In addition to this work, a smaller frame was built on the top of the grade beam for a second, much smaller concrete pour. This will create a lip that will be used to stabilize the walls.
