WHAT TO TAKE?   Essentials include extra money for meals while traveling, snacks, some meals “on your own,” and misc. (maybe $50-$100).  Bring plenty of workout clothing (especially socks) for weather that may range from sunny and 80 to rainy and sub-freezing.  Early morning practices will be cold!  Also, bring swimsuit, extra towel, sunscreen, water bottle, and hat.  Consult with your assigned roommates for alarm clock, music, and other items you won’t want to duplicate.  Leave unnecessary valuables at home!  Keep your cash hidden and a credit card for emergencies may be useful.  If your hands are tender you may want to invest in leather sport gloves.  Questions?  Ask your coach.
