ITHACA COLLEGE CREW – RACE ITINERARY

Race: 10/8/2016       Head of the Genesee

Location;    Rochester, NY….U of R campus, Genesee boathouse.

Participating schools:   UR, RIT, William Smith, ST. Lawrence, others from upstate NY.

Departure Time – location   On Saturday, 10/8, meet the bus at A & E Center at 6:15am. Depart at 6:30am.

Directions to Site; – Leave Ithaca on route 96 north through Waterloo to I-90 at exit 42, proceed west to exit 46.  Proceed north on I-390 to exit 17, Scottsville Road east, merge onto Elmwood Avenue east, boathouse parking will be on the right

Time line;  to bus driver; Saturday 10/8/16

6:15 am – Meet at the Ithaca College A & E Center, north side loading dock.                                6:30 am  – drive directly to Rochester, NY race site – arrive 8:30am.
2:00 pm – load the bus for the trip home….no local transportation required.

ETA Ithaca, 4:30pm.

Race Schedule;      8:45         Regatta meeting

                                10:00       Men’s 4, launch at 9:15.

                                10:07       Women’s 4, launch at 9:22.

                                11:32       Men’s v8, launch at 10:47.

                                11:44       Women’s v8, launch at 10:59.

                                11:54       Men’s nov8, launch at 11:09.

                                12:03       Women’s nov8, launch at 11:18

Race notes:    All races are 5k head race       

Food: All athletes should eat breakfast before getting on the bus an/or pack snacks for the bus ride.  On site we will have our food tent in operation.  Second breakfast will be french toast, bagels, muffins, and fruit.  Everyone will have the opportunity to pack a bagged lunch for the trip home (sandwich, fruit, granola bar, and chips).  Again a reminder that we are trying to reduce (eliminate using disposable water and Gatorade bottles)  The plan is to have a water cooler and powdered Gatorade.  Here is the LINK for the parent food sign-up

Other Information:   Bring a full water bottle and a change of clothes.  Don’t forget your uniform.
