Ithaca Crew at World Rowing Championships

This year’s World Rowing Championships are being held in sunny Sarasota, Florida from September 24th – October 1st and Ithaca Crew is proud to be involved!

Our Women’s Head Coach Becky Robinson is on her way to FL today to cheer on not one, but two of our very own athletes as they compete in this year’s regatta. Fresh off the waters of Rio, Emily Morley ’16 is off to Florida to represent the Bahamas once again in the Women’s 1x category. Erik Frid ’14 will also be hitting the water in the Men’s 4x representing the U.S.

We are so proud to have our athletes representing their countries and being great examples of hard work, perseverance, and the spirit of Ithaca Crew. We are all rooting for Emily and Erik and wish them the best of luck in their competitions.

Tune into worldrowing.com for live updates on all races, live audio commentary of all races, and live video coverage of all A/B semifinals and A finals. Heats will be drawn Saturday, September 23rd and races begin Sunday, September 24th.
