Ithaca Crew is Taking Flight

Race Fans!

This weekend the IC Crews are rowing and sculling in two different locations.

The rowers are headed to the Head of the Genessee in Rochester NY (see Itinerary and race schedule in previous blog post).  Six eights will be racing.  The Men will be putting out a 1st Varsity, 2nd Varsity and a Frosh/Novice eight.  The Women will be fielding a Lightweight Eight (racing as the 1st Varsity) and two Novice boats.  The Novice A boat is a mixture of experienced first years rowing inline with four novices.  The Novice B boat are all beginning novices!

The scullers and two pairs are headed to West Windsor NJ for the Small Boat Challenge (see itinerary and race schedule in previous blog post).  This is the largest contingent headed to this race.  Seven singles, four doubles and two pairs.  Way to represent.
